DID YOU KNOW that the last day to register to vote for the November 5th, 2024 election is October 9th?

You can register to vote in person at the Bates County Clerk’s Office located in the Bates County Administration Building (103 W. Dakota St., Butler, MO.)  You will need a form of acceptable ID.  If the ID does not have a current address, you will need to bring paperwork that shows your Bates County address.  To be eligible to vote, your registration form must be POSTMARKED by the 4th Wednesday before the election (10/9/2024).  Or you can go online to register through the Missouri Secretary of State’s Office.

YOU WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO REGISTER TO VOTE AT HUDSON R-IX ON SEPT. 26TH FROM 6:30 – 7:00 P.M. AND AFTER THE 7:00 P.M. STUDENT PERFORMANCE. What are acceptable forms of identification?  A nonexpired Missouri driver or non-driver license;  A nonexpired military ID, including a veteran’s ID card; A nonexpired US passport; or Another photo ID issued by the US or the state of Missouri which is either not expired or expired after the date of the most recent general election.
