Policy on High School Selection by Hudson R-IX Students
Students, grades nine through twelve, who are residents of the Hudson R-IX district have the option of attending any one of five high schools adjoining it. The Hudson district will pay the tuition for them to attend the school of their choice. These students should select their school of choice by July 1st of the year they plan to attend it in the fall. Eligible students from the Hudson R-IX district are expected to abide by all of the rules and regulation of the school they are attending. Non-compliance on their part could result in their being unable to find another school to accept them for the rest of the year. They will not be permitted to switch to another high school during a given year without the expressed approval by the Hudson R-IX Board of Education. Any request for a change in school will require the student's appearance before the Board of Education. The Board of Education holds their regular, monthly meeting on the second Monday of each month.
